IFT’s live and on-demand webcasts offer bite-size eLearning opportunities in a wide range of food science and technology topics.

Continuing Education Credit

IFT’s food science-related webcasts and online courses qualify for Certified Food Scientist (CFS) recertification contact hours (CH). CFS Certificants may claim 1 CH per hour of food science content. For more information on CFS recertification requirements, visit

IFT is a continuing professional education provider (IN141) with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics’ (AND) Commission on Dietetic Registration. Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians may claim  1 CPE per hour of learning.

Virtual Events
IFT's live and on-demand webcasts provide condensed, specific and applicable information on topics affecting the food industry. How to write effective learning objectives (pdf)
