| Globalization has brought opportunities for growth but has also created new food safety challenges for U.S. food companies.
In partnership with and organized by the IFT Washington DC Section, this webcast provides perspectives on international food standards, government initiatives to ensure the safety of imported products, and the resources available to food companies to operate in developed and developing countries. Although developing countries serve as low-cost resources of food ingredients and food products, their rapidly growing economies are viewed as important markets for U.S. food companies and targets of critical food safety initiatives.
